When Living Water Community Church decided that they wanted to design and build a church cafe, called "The Connection Point", Weaver Commercial Contractor was contacted.
The first step was to come up with a design that met the need and a budget that worked. This was accomplished through meetings with the church leadership and within several weeks the design and budget came together and the project was a go.
The construction was conventional framed but to get the open feeling that was desired the roof trusses were left exposed along with the HVAC spiral ducting, and the electrical conduit runs. Lighting was selected that enhanced this feature. The flooring was another item that was given a lot of attention. The sitting areas are carpeted and the walking area leading into and through the cafe was accomplished with a stained concrete that was then sealed for protection. The room was accoustically balanced to allow conversation to take place easily. There was audio visual installed so that the santuary programs could be viewed and heard in the cafe as well. There is a large pantry that allows for storage of needed items as well as washing of utensils, plates, mugs, glasses, etc.
