This new church facility for Fairlawn Mennonite Church was a design-build project using a Nucor pre-engineered metal building structure with a 24 gauge standing seam roof.Other exterior finishes include stone, efis and metal veneer. The interior includes a custom commercial kitchen, a cafe, a sanctuary seating 549 with future expansion to 789. The sanctuary is also acoustically balanced and has state of the art audio visuals. The project also included a large entry and foyer, classrooms for all ages, a worship area for the children fitted with a stage and sound system, a youth gathering area with its own audio video and a mezzanine for games and lounging, a full size gymnasium, men's and women's lockerooms, men's and women's restrooms, and storage areas. Facility has been designed for future expansion of classrooms. This project included all of the site work, utility extensions, parking areas, exterior lighting, exterior concrete work, and seeding for lawn areas.
